Kiss Gradation Polishes

I saw these Kiss Gradation polishes and decided to try out a couple of colors.

The gradation kit comes with 3 different nail colors (including a glitter top coat) which are similar in shade to create an ombré/gradation effect on your nails.

Application is really simple:

Overall, although I do think this product is a bit gimmicky because you can achieve the same look using polishes you probably already have, I actually really like it!

This kit makes it super easy to get cute and trendy ombré nails for only $8 at walgreens

Shopping My Stash

I just rediscovered these ziplock bags full of lippies that I had completely forgotten about. Smh!!!!

I found some good stuff in there too! There were so many beautiful (yes, "beautiful" because it's that serious lol) light pinks, corals, and oranges that I had put away during Fall and Winter.

I'm so excited to start wearing some of these bright colors again! Lol

Makeup Rediscovery

Last night, I randomly got the urge to play in my makeup; so I broke out my old Comfort Zone eyeshadow palette from Wet n Wild.

Surprisingly, it's literally been YEARS since I've worn eyeshadow on my upper lids. I may use a bright shadow as liner on my lower lash line, but that's about it. I'm totally a bold lip and winged liner kind of girl.

But......... I decided to do something different this time. I know EVERYONE has seen looks and swatches using Comfort Zone, but I've had this palette for a few years and never really played with it until recently.

Do you have this palette?

Another Ross Find

I'm so obsessed with this hot pink cross body bag that I found at Ross

It looks very similar to a Rebecca Minkoff bag, but it was literally a fraction of the price.

Too faced Melted Liquified Long WearLipstick Review and Swatches

As soon as I saw this bright pink neon lipstick, I knew I had to have it.

Too Faced Melted Lipstick in Melted Fuschia is a very bright hot pink/ neon lip color. The formula is matte and goes on creamy and opaque.

My review:
Pros: As you can see from the pics, the color is gorgeous! It feels really good on the lips and it has a virtually nonexistent scent.

Cons: This lipstick is extremely high maintenance because you have to reapply it every couple of hours. It is marketed as a long wearing lipstick, but I didn't find this product long lasting at all!

Overall: I like this lipstick enough to go back for more colors, but I am annoyed that it has a relatively short wear time. The colors are amazing though!

Availability: Sephora, Ulta, and Too Faced website ~$18.

Summer Glow

I know it's still Spring, but I'm soooooooo ready for Summer!

I've already started wearing my Spring dresses which, of course, means I'm showing more SKIN! Lol

Bronzed, "glowy" skin is a MUST this time of year, so I went to Victoria's Secret to get some shimma (shimmer)!

Victoria's Secret Luminous Body Butter is the PERFECT product to help your skin achieve that summer glow.

The texture is soft and creamy. It goes on really smooth and absorbs into the skin quickly. It also has a slight golden sparkle without being glittery.

I definitely recommend this product.

Availability and Price: Victoria's Secret $15.

Jordana Sweet n Shiny Flavored Lip Gloss

I've developed a little obsession with this lip gloss. I mean...... I guess it is a bit childish, but it smells and taste so good!

It goes on thick and clear and has a sweet sherbet scent and flavor. It's only about $2 at Kmart, so give it a try!

Kiss gelFantasy Press-on Nails

While browsing my local Walgreens this past weekend, I saw these super cute press-on nails from Kiss.

I had previously seen several favorable reviews on these nails, so I decided to give them a try.

My Review:
As you can see from the photos above, they are indeed super cute. However, these were a total FAIL for me.

The Bad:
I used the provided glue to adhere the nails, and they lasted about............ Maybe half a day. After I realized the glue didn't work, I tried using the provided adhesive that comes with the nails......... That didn't work either. The nails still popped right off.

They were cute while they lasted though; and super easy to apply.

Small Ross Haul

Today, I went to Ross to re-up on my Can-Can by Paris Hilton perfume and I feel like I won! Lol

I found this set which includes my beloved Can-Can for around $11. Girl, say what you want about Paris Hilton, but she makes some bomb perfume!

I also found these super cute sandals. If you know me, then you know these are my style all the way!

Black Radiance True Complexion BB Cream

Today, I'm playing with Black Radiance's BB Cream in the color "Brown Sugar."

Here is the company's blurb about the product:

"NEW True Complexion™ BB Cream, our first multi-purpose skin perfector, evens and refines darker complexions with 10 skin care benefits for natural looking radiance. Exclusively formulated to enhance ethnic skin tones, the lightweight, oil-free beauty balm moisturizes, conceals, primes, smoothes, and minimizes shine with blendable, sheer color and lasting SPF 15 protection" ~

So far, I LUV it. It's lightweight and matches my skin tone perfectly. (Which is great since "Brown Sugar" was the ONLY color available at my Walmart).

And it costs less than $5. So if you're on the hunt for a "brown-girl friendly" bb cream, check this one out.
