Small Beauty Haul

Beauty Purchases.................

Small Beauty Haul

Walmart:
Scunci bobby pins- these are my favorite bobby pins ever because they don't stretch out after one use.

Revlon colorStay nail polish in "Calla Lilly"

Seche Vite dry fast top coat

Target:
Nivea lip balms- I really love the "Cherry" flavored one because it stains the lips red.

It's a 10 miracle styling serum- This was a new purchase for me and I've been loving it so far.  It leaves my hair really shiny and although it's thick, it doesn't cause much product buildup.  It's also great for sealing the ends of my hair.

Sephora
Amazing Grace bath and shower gel/ shampoo

May Favorites

These are all of the products I used, and LOVED in the month in May.

May 2012 Favorites

Simple "Smoothing Facial Scrub" and "Moisturizing Facial Wash"- I'm so obsessed with this brand.  These two products have replaced all of my cleansers.  They work great on my dry/sensitive skin.

Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush in "Coral Reef"- This coral blush is PERFECT for my skin tone. I think I literally wore it like everyday in May.  Click here for my review and pics.

Maybelline Eye Studio Gel Liner in "Black"- The forumula is creamy, and I've been using this for months and haven't experienced much drying out.

Maybelline Great Lash "Lots of Lashes in black" and Great Lash in "Clear".  The lots of lashes really makes my eyelashes look longer and thicker, and it's only about $5 at Walmart!  I use the clear mascara on my lower lashline, and also to tame my eyebrows.

Buxom Lip Cream in "Berry Blast"- This is another product that I wore almost everyday in May.  Even though the color is bright, I can get away with wearing it to work because it looks great on my deep skin tone.

Revlon Just Bitten Balm Stain in "LoveSick"- I usually layer this under my "Berry Blast" lip gloss because they are almost the exact same color, and it helps the gloss last longer.  Click here for a full review and swatches of the Balm Stains.

Macadamia "Healing Oil Treatment"- I like using this instead of my Argan Oil between washes because it's lighter and doesn't cause any product buildup.

L'Oreal Youth Code Eye Cream- This was probably my favorite new purchase in May.  I use this in the morning and at night to brighten up my under eye area, and decrease puffiness.  I want to use up the entire tube before I do a review, but so far.................... I like it!

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains

Revlon just released their new Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains.  Revlon describes these as a lightweight lip stain which doubles as a lip balm.

My Thoughts:
I really LOVE these. The colors are really pigmented and leave a glossy stain to the lips.  I picked up three shades:

        Darling (Lilac/Cool Pink)
      Rendevous (Orange)
      LoveSick (Hot Pink/Fuchsia)

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains: (top to bottom) Darling, Rendezvous, LoveSick

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stains: (top to bottom) Darling, Rendezvous, LoveSick

Pros:
The color definitely stains my lips and lasts for hours through meals and drinks.  It has a glossy finish, and does not dry out my lips like most stains.  There is a slight menthol/mint scent, but it's not at all detectable once on the lips.

Cons:
I would not necessarily consider this a balm.  These are slightly moisturizing when I first put them on, but the "balm" effect fades away fairly quick leaving just the stained color.

Overall:
I love these, and will probably be picking up more colors. I like layering them under other glosses or lip balms for extra shine.
