New: Revlon Gucci Westman Spirng/Summer 2012 Escapism Collection

A few weeks ago I picked up a couple items from Revlon's new Gucci Westman Escapism Collection.  This collection features bright Coral, Orange, and Bronze shades to create the perfect Spring/Summer look.

The two items that REALLY caught my attention from this collection were the Cream PhotoReady Blush in "Coral Reef," and the ColorBurst Lip Gloss in "Sunbaked."

Revlon Gucci Westman Spring/Summer 2012 "Sunbaked" and "Coral Reef"

"Coral Reef" is a bright Coral/Orangey cheek color.  I LOVE this blush.  The formula is smooth and pigmented. It's perfect for my skin tone, and I never have a problem with it looking chalky.  I've read a few reviews that complained about these blushes not being long lasting, but I haven't had any problems with that. I put it on in the morning for work, and when I return home the blush looks exactly the same.

Now on to "Sunbaked." I honestly loved this lip gloss so much, that I bought a back up of it.  Revlon's ColorBurst Lip Glosses are probably my favorite glosses ever, but this color is just what I've been looking for.  On my skin tone, it's a nice Nude/Warm Pink color, but I can see this looking great on anyone.

People Magazine's Most Beautiful Woman 2012- Beyonce [Source]

If you haven't already heard, People Magazine has named singer, Beyonce the World's Most Beautiful Woman.

I know A LOT of people take issue with People Magazine's list because many feel they are trying to "define" beauty in some way, but listen................  I'm only here for the pictures of Beyonce, and they are GOREGOUS!

Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo and Dry Conditioner

I've tried higher end Dry Shampoos in the past, and they were absolute disasters because they left my hair dry and sticky, but a while back I decided to give  Suave's Dry Shampoo and Dry Conditioner a try after reading a lot of positive reviews.

Suave Professionals Dry Conditioner and Dry Shampoo

I have really thick hair that tends to get dry, so I ONLY use this Dry Shampoo on the rare occasion that my hair feels oily, or between washes when I have product buildup.

My Thoughts:
The formula of the Dry Shampoo is a light mist and has a citrus scent.  It does leave behind a white residue on my dark hair after I spray it, but it blends nicely with my fingers into the roots of my hair.  It definitely works well at absorbing ALL of the oils from my hair (sometimes TOO well..... lol).  My hair feels light and clean after I use it.

Suave Professionals Dry Shampoo

Although I like the Dry Shampoo, and I think it would work even better for those of you with thinner hair, I prefer the Dry Conditioner.  The conditioner contains shea oil and sunflower seed oil, so it leaves my hair soft and shiny.  I spray this ALL over my hair (including the roots) and it works just fine for me.  It leaves my hair feeling CLEAN and soft, but unlike the Dry Shampoo, it doesn't dry out my hair or leave a white residue.

Suave Professionals Dry Conditioner

Overall
I probably wouldn't buy the Dry Shampoo again because it leaves my hair feeling extremely dry (so I end up having to use more products), but I really love the Dry Conditioner.  It leaves my hair fresh and shiny without causing any buildup or residue.  I will probably always have the conditioner around to refresh my hair between washes.

Availability:
Mass Retailers for $3.00-$4.00

Essie LuxEffects Top Coat in "Shine of the Times"

Last weekend I decided to pick up Essie's LuxEffects Top Coat in "Shine of the Times."

Essie LuxEffects Top Coat in "Shine of the Times"

"Shine of the Times" is a clear base coat with multi-colored Flakies.

I LOVE how the Flakies look over Black nail polish, so I paired it with Wet n Wild's "Black Creme."

The formula is thick, and contains TONS of Glitter Flakes.  This is one coat.

Products I've Used Up (March 2012)

These are the products that I've used up for the month of March.

March Empties

Smashbox Photo Finish Foundation Primer.  This is the only primer I've been using for years.  Already repurchased.

Rimmel Exaggerate Waterproof Eye Definer.  This works really well and lasts all day.  It's not extremely black, but I like it because it doesn't transfer during the day.

St. Ives Green Tea Scrub.  This works ok, but I probably wouldn't repurchase it because I didn't see a real difference in my skin.  (the ingredients in this aren't as harsh as the original oatmeal scrub).

Victoria's Secret  Body Lotion in Glam Goddess. This is one of my FAVORITE Victoria's Secret scents of all time.  I got this last summer, and I think it was limited edition. The notes are Naked Musk and Sensual Freesia, but I think it smells a lot like Caramel and Pralines.

Revlon Quick Dry Top Coat. My favorite top coat right now.  I will be repurchasing.

Dove Deodorant in Cucumber and Green Tea.  This worked great, but like I said last month, I don't know if I'll be repurchasing this because I usually just buy whatever deodorant is on clearance. lol

Amazing Grace Perfume and Body Butter.   I already have SEVERAL backups of this perfume, but I probably won't purchase the body butter again because the scent isn't as good as the perfume.

Aveeno Positively Nourishing Body Wash in Pomegranate and Rice.  I really like the Aveeno body wash line.  This lasted me forever, and it's a good body exfoliator.  It does have Walnut Shell Powder though, so if you have sensitive skin this may not be for you.

Elf Makeup Mist and Set. I love this stuff. It goes on wet, but it dries really fast and my makeup lasts all day.  Already repurchased.

Let me know what you think.
Have you tried any of these products?
