Friday Favorites!

This week I was more focused on Skincare than Makeup because I had a small breakout early in the week, and the change in weather has really dried out my skin.

I stopped using my Clean & Clear Morning Burst Skin Brightening Facial Scrub for a few weeks because I was trying out different products, and I could definitely tell the difference.  My skin was beginning to look so DULL!  I started using it again, and now I remember why I LOVE it so much! This is great at making my skin look Smooth and Glowy.  Click Here to check out my full review.

As I mentioned earlier, I had a small breakout this week, and ended up doing something that you should NEVER do. I popped a small pimple on my chin because I was too impatient to let it just go away on its own (lol). And of course, that only made it worse.  So I went to Walmart to try to find something to help heal it, and I discovered the Clean & Clear Advantage Popped Pimple Relief Gel Pen. Its main ingredient is Salicylic Acid, and it dried the pimple right up. It's a good on the go treatment, but you only need a TINY amount, unless you will experience flaking during the day.  And that would NOT be cute.

Since the weather is finally starting to get a little Cold here, I have been experiencing some dry patches on my face! Pond's Dry Skin Cream is the ONLY thing that has been able to keep my skin moisturized all day. I've tried many different moisturizers like Carol's Daughter, Bare Minerals, Cetaphil, Ambi............ and none of them have worked for me.  The Pond's Cream goes on thick, but it's Super hydrating and works wonders for my skin.

To keep my lips moisturized, I have been wearing my Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter every day this week.  You guys know I did a Review on these Lip Butters a few days ago, and I love them so much that I decided to pick up another color that was more wearable for daytime.  I picked up the color Sweet Tart which is a warm pink, and I love it.  Click Here for my full review of these Revlon Lip Butters.

And Lastly, I've been absolutely loving my Elf Flat Top Powder Brush that I purchased from Target. It's an antibacterial, synthetic taklon brush and can be used for wet or dry products. I like to use it to apply all over face powder and blush. This Brush gives me a flawless finish, and it's only $3.00!  Elf is also having a 40% off Holiday Gift Sale this week, so I'll probably be checking that out.

I also love the e.l.f. flat top brush too. I use it for blush, foundation, and setting my makeup sometimes.
