Elf's Gotta Glow Lip Tint

   Hey y'all.

I haven't blogged in a minute! As discussed in previous posts, I've been in sort of a "makeup slump" lately. I did recently find something I LOVE though!

Elf Cosmetic's Gotta Glow Lip Tint.

Elf's Gotta Glow Lip Tint claims to adjust to your body's natural chemistry which is supposed to give you a perfect, flattering pink shade. The best part??? It's only $6 on!

Check out these swatches!

This lip tint is definitely comparable to higher end products which have similar claims. In fact, I've tried "natural adjusting" lip balms from Dior, It Cosmetics, and Tarte and I actually prefer Elf's

It Cosmetics Vitality Lip Flush in "Je Ne Sais Quoi" $34

Tarte Lip Surgence in "Energy"

Elf's Gotta Glow Lip Tint is a winner for me over these other high end products because it feels better on my lips, has better color payoff, and lasts longer!

Let me know what you think.

Colour Pop Haul + Swatches

Hey y'all.

Check out my new Colour Pop haul and swatches!!!!!!

Colour Pop Haul 2015

As SOON as Colour Pop released their NEW Ultra Matte Lip Liquid Lipsticks, you better believe I was online placing my order. lol.  I only ordered one (because I wanted to test out the formula) but I also got 2 blushes and a lip primer.

I picked up the Ultra Matte Lip Liquid Lipstick in the color "Sundae."

"Sundae" is described as a vibrant pink magenta with a subtle blue violet undertone.

Y'all........  I'm liking this so far. At first I thought that the application was a bit patchy, but once I got the hang of it, it looked awesome. This lippie has pretty good lasting power, and leaves a hot pink stain on the lips as it starts to fade away.

Remember this is a MATTE lippie, so exfoliate and moisturize before applying (the lip primer works well with this).

Colour Pop Blushes in "More, Please" and "Fruit stand"

I LOVEEEEE these blushes.  They are highly pigmented, easy to work with, and they lasts all day on the cheeks.

"More, Please" is described as a vivid fuchsia with a violet-blue duo chrome in a pearlized finish. You can see a bit of sparkle in this one when swatched, but when its actually on the cheeks it just looks like a slight sheen.

"Fruit Stand" is described as a neon red orange in a matte finish. Y'all already know orange blushes look amazing on brown/dark skin right? This one is no exception. If you love orange blushes, then you NEED to pick this one up asap. lol

NOTW: Essence "Sweet as Candy"

Hey y'all!

I decided to go back to acrylic nails last weekend because I wanted to rock long nails.

I know the "trending" nail shapes at the moment are either long rectangular nails or "coffin" shaped nails. However, NOTHING beats pointed/ almond shaped nails when I want an extra feminine look.

This is "Sweet as Candy" by Essence.

"Sweet as Candy" is a sheer milky pink nail color. I chose this color because it's a soft and natural shade.

This is 2 coats and a top coat.

Availability: Ulta ~$2.99

Let me know what you think.
