Black Radiance Soft Focus Finishing Powder

Ok, listen. If you don't have this face powder yet, go get it.

Black Radiance's Soft Focus Finishing Powder is my favorite makeup product at the moment.

It's soooooo pretty and blends seamlessly into the skin. There are 3 different shades to choose from, so brown girls of every color shouldn't have too much of a problem finding the right match.

I use this more as a foundation than as an actual finishing powder. The coverage is sheer to light, but you may be able to build it up to medium coverage. It lasts well and stays beautifully matte throughout the day.

And........ Girl, it's only about $7.00 at Walmart. Just go get it! Lol

This "Milk Chocolate" shade is perfect on my complexion.

I love it so much that I even got a backup! Just in case................ Lol

Let me know what you think.

Small Sephora Haul

Hey y'all!

I just thought I'd pop in to show a quick haul from Sephora.

*sidenote* I put myself on a "low buy" at the beginning of the year to try to save money, so I haven't really been buying a lot of makeup. AND............ Truthfully, I've been in a bit of of "blogging rut," meaning I just haven't been feeling like it. Lol

BUT ANYWAY, here's the haul.

Sephora brand matte foundation powder in #58 "Spice" (turned out to be about 2 shades lighter than my skin tone so I gave it to my mom. Lol)

Benefit "Roller Lash" mascara

Bite dual ended lipstick in "Tangerine" and "Lingonberry" (both of these colors are SO BOMB! I may even get a back up to make sure it lasts through the summer.)

Sephora beauty insiders birthday gift from Nars.

I purchased the "Roller Lash" mascara during Benefit's event at Sephora, so I also recieved the free gifts with purchase.

Benefit gifts with purchase:
Handheld mirror (super cute!!!!)
Lolli Balm hydrating tinted lip balm

That's it!!!

Influenster Refresh Vox Box

Here's what was in my latest Influensfer Vox Box!

Influenster's Refresh Vox Box has been my FAVORITE box so far.

I liked everything, but these were my favorites:

I luv the L'occitane Shea Butter Light Comforting Cream. It provides enough moisture for my dry skin, and it has a slight scent that's similar to most traditional baby lotions.

ANDDDD the Covergirl Ultra Smooth Hair Smoothing Foundation is actually a good match for my skintone!

The Montagne Jeunesse peel off mask was really nice, although the severely strong scent of honey was almost intoxicating. (I swear I'm not exaggerating. Honey + Jasmine is powerful! Lol)

Let me know what you think!

**disclaimer: I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.**

Colour Pop Review and Swatches

Yes, I jumped on the Colour Pop bandwagon; BUT they're awesome and SUPER affordable at $5.00 a pop!

There were soooo many beautiful shades of eyeshadows on their website, so I just made it simple and purchased one of their most popular "foursomes."

I chose the Megan Naik set of four eyeshadows, and a few Lippie Stix and Pencils.

These products definitely live up to all the hype.

The shadows are extremely pigmented, creamy, and easy to work with.

The Lippy Stix and Pencils also have great pigmentation, feel good on the lips, and lasts all day.

Christian Louboutin "Rouge Louboutin" Nail Colour

Before you get to judging...... Just hear me out. Lol

I recieved a Sephora gift card for Christmas and decided to do something ridiculous!

I wanted to use the gift card on something that I would NEVER. EVER. buy for myself, sooooooooo I bought a $50 bottle of Nail Polish! Lol

I think this one deserves a blurb from the official Christian Louboutin website:

"Rouge Louboutin… a timeless, vibrant red suited to any skin tone. A true objet d’art of a dramatic 8-inch height inspired by the tallest heel Christian Louboutin ever created- the Ballerina Ultima. The iconic Rouge is encased in a faceted, weighted glass bottle with an unique ombré effect. The tall slender cap, inspired by calligraphy, turns the application into a luxurious experience, inviting women to take their time. The custom-designed, patented triangular brush picks up the right amount of formula, without air bubbles, to deliver flawless, chip-resistant coverage. A highly pigmented, super glossy  formula delivers in just two coats the effect of 20 layers of traditional lacquer. Enclosed in a patent leather like finish presentation box with a red reveal."

Ok girl that was cute, but anyway...... This is just regular nail polish in fancy packaging. I mean, the color is pretty, but it still chipped in 2 days when I wore it on my bare nails.

Is it worth $50?
That depends. Just for the color, no! BUT if you like collecting pretty things and you have extra money, go for it!

This is ONE coat with NO topcoat.

This is TWO coats with a topcoat applied on acrylic nails.

Let me know what you think.
