While browsing my local Walgreens this past weekend, I saw these super cute press-on nails from Kiss.
I had previously seen several favorable reviews on these nails, so I decided to give them a try.
As you can see from the photos above, they are indeed super cute. However, these were a total FAIL for me.
I used the provided glue to adhere the nails, and they lasted about............ Maybe half a day. After I realized the glue didn't work, I tried using the provided adhesive that comes with the nails......... That didn't work either. The nails still popped right off.
They were cute while they lasted though; and super easy to apply.
Today, I'm playing with Black Radiance's BB Cream in the color "Brown Sugar."
Here is the company's blurb about the product:
"NEW True Complexion™ BB Cream, our first multi-purpose skin perfector, evens and refines darker complexions with 10 skin care benefits for natural looking radiance. Exclusively formulated to enhance ethnic skin tones, the lightweight, oil-free beauty balm moisturizes, conceals, primes, smoothes, and minimizes shine with blendable, sheer color and lasting SPF 15 protection" ~ blackradiancebeauty.com
So far, I LUV it. It's lightweight and matches my skin tone perfectly. (Which is great since "Brown Sugar" was the ONLY color available at my Walmart).
And it costs less than $5. So if you're on the hunt for a "brown-girl friendly" bb cream, check this one out.
I get them from TJ maxx for about $6.00. They come in multiple scents and they leave my skin feeling so soft and smooth. I have no idea if they're at TJ maxx because they're being discontinued, so I just stock up whenever I go.
